Essential Viewing in Saltaire
The mill is a must see, which exhibits a lot of David Hockney’s work. http://www.saltsmill.org.uk/
Saltaire URC church is a beautiful Italianate church built by Sir Titus Salt. It has had recent renovations and is currently in top form. Many people get married in the church. They also run an affordable Cafe which should be on during the festival. http://www.saltaireurc.org.uk/
The main village Saltaire Website also has a lot of useful information about Saltaire. http://www.saltairevillage.info/

Saltaire Bakery is a must. For only 85p you can get a home-made pork pie and mushy peas! https://plus.google.com/116065795009869828133/about?gl=uk&hl=en You can also sit in for tea. They do speciality sandwiches on lovely bread and also sweets.
Accomodation
The Ibis is probably the best economical accommodation in the area. See http://www.ibishotel.com/gb/hotel-3158-ibis-bradford-shipley/index.shtml It is about a half a mile down the canal from Saltaire and has canal views. It is also next to The Noble Comb http://www.fayre-square.com/pub/noble-comb-salts-mill-road-shipley/m6964/ which is one of the cheapest restaurants in the area. They offer a 2 meals for £10 deal. The Pub style restaurant is great for families as you will not feel guilty if your kids make loads of noise. There is also a little park outside.
