As a web designer you can occasionally get scares when you produce a lovely site only to find it looks like a dog’s dinner in IE8 or below.
Unfortunately you cannot get IE8 on Windows 7 or 8.
I have recently found a nice way to test in IE8.
- Open up your current version of Internet Explorer.
- Click F12
- Select the icon at the bottom of the panel that appears in the bottom left, which looks like a desktop screen and tablet.
- Beside document mode, select 8.
That is it!
